Vail received 7 inches of snow up on the mountain but only 4 inches down in the Valley. None-the-less, it allowed the mountain to open up China Bowl and Blue Sky Basin ! More on the way this weekend per the weather man. Instead of skiing today, some of us went for a hike and snow-shoe up at Gore Creek, one of the more popular hikes around Vail Colorado. We had fresh snow and blue sky.
