If you are here for a week and want to try something different, head on over to Beaver Creek’s McCoy Park for some cross country skiing. Once you arrive at the Beaver Creek Resort (15 minutes from Vail), you pay for your nordic trails pass at the Beaver Creek nordic center (base of the Strawberry Park ski lift), then catch a ride up the Strawberry Park lift to access the nordic trails. These nordic trails are way up high at the Beaver Creek Resort so the air is thin, but the solitude is worth it. Chris R.
