Got Antlers?

Friday, March 23rd, 2012

We love it when guests wear the Antlers’ trademark red antlers. As the group above demonstrates, antlers are the perfect fashion accessory for mountaintop freestyle golf.

Greg and Randi from our staff show how versatile these antlers really are–they even look swell with evening attire:

Brazilian travel agents love our antlers:

Kids love our antlers:

What would the Antlers bike be without antlers?

Even dogs like to wear our red antlers!

We’d love to see photos of you and your friends (four-legged or otherwise) decked out in your red Antlers antlers. You might be featured in one of our ads or on this blog–or you could even win fun prizes for wearing your antlers in the most exotic local or taking the wackiest photo. E-mail your photos to RLeVine(at)antlersvail.com,  and if you don’t have your own personal pair of antlers just ask at the front desk and we’ll happily get you outfitted.

Meanwhile, don’t forget to snap a photo the next time you don your antlers on vacation–like this sophisticated traveler who sent us a photo from Torchy’s Damn Good Tacos (which she says they are) in Austin, Texas.

We look forward to seeing you in your antlers!

Cutest Guest

Tuesday, April 19th, 2011

As a Vail pet friendly lodging option some of our four legged guests need some recognition too! Muffin one of our most loyal guests visited us again this March and as always it was a joy having her around. She never shies away from getting dressed up for any occasion, and always makes sure to stop by the front desk to show off her outfit of the day. We look forward to seeing her again along with the Bensingers, her gracious owners!

Action Photos / Wine And Cheese Party

Sunday, February 27th, 2011

Jerome, Larry, Author and Rich talk shop. Ski shop that is.

Just about everyone in the room had skied or did a snow shoe earlier in the day.  I took no photos of that.  I did , however, snap some shots of everyone enjoying themselves at the Wine and Cheese Party that evening.  The Antlers hosts the gathering every Tuesday in the winter months.

Risa Bressler, Larry's wife, helps herself while the men talk shop.

  Come join us won’t you?

Teresa Buckley, Rich's wife, says hello to the camera.

Use to be employee Bert, with wife Kim, stopped by after a snow shoe to say hello.

Arlene and Arthur are proud of their ski day on the Mountain.

Magda introduces Isabelle, the Antlers youngest employee.

....and of course, a couple of regulars.

Vail family ski vacation

Sunday, November 21st, 2010

With the early snow opening a LOT of the mountain, families are already coming into town for a quick vail family ski vacation at the Antlers at Vail.  The kids are loving the fresh snow and groomed trails so early in the season.  They want to be in top shape for Thanksgiving week so as to add up as much vertical feet as possible.

Everyone is happy we have so much open.

Christmas In August!

Monday, August 2nd, 2010

Welcome back Lee Family!
David and Jan Lee came to stay at the Antlers 17 years ago and loved it so much they decided to bring the whole family the very next year. David and Jan after that fateful “family reunion” decided that every December 25th each member of the family will receive just what they want… for the last 16 years they have brought their ever growing family for a nice week long reunion in the Rocky Mountains the first week of August. With 4 Children 7 grandchildren and various other family Members including David’s brother and his family the Lee family knows exactly what they are getting for Christmas every year, a trip to Vail. With hiking, biking and golfing, every member has an activity they enjoy right at their finger tips. Of course we can’t over look the kid’s most favorite part, the swimming pool! Thank you to David, Jan, and the rest of the Lee family for making a stay at the Antlers at Vail a tradition. We look forward to sharing 17 more years with you.

Message from David Lee: Antlers, the Christmas gift that is never returned and fits all.  As our four children were finishing there education they were excepting positions all over the country and world.  Being a close family we felt it was important to have at least one annual gathering of the whole family.  Enter the Antlers.

For the past sixteen years our family Christmas present has been a week at the Antlers.  Why the same place for sixteen years?  Simple, everything works well.  The staff, accommodations, location, and size of the facility all   make for an enjoyable vacation.

Many on the staff are long term employees and can handle your needs and the daily maid service is great. We have stayed in one, two and three units and found them well stocked and clean.  The location is just steps away from shopping, dining, and the free Vail bus stop.  We feel the Antlers is a user friendly size of about ninety units.  If you are looking for a giant lobby with a ten foot high flower bouquet it’s not there.  What is there is a comfortable lobby with helpful staff that can handle everything from your ticket needs to church locations.

The Vail scene is vast and the Antlers makes it all work for us.
