Once you arrive in Vail Village, there’s very little need for a car. Parking is limited, and can be expensive. Although the Antlers does provide one complimentary parking space per condo in our garage for guests who book directly with the hotel.

Here are other ways to get to Vail that can be more convenient for visitors to Vail.

Denver to Vail Shuttle

There are convenient shuttle services that take guests from the Denver Airport directly to the Antlers at Vail. These include Epic Mountain Express and Peak 1 Express. Especially in the winter, guests are probably better off enjoying the mountain views from a shuttle on I-70 rather than tackling the (possibly snowy) drive themselves.

Bus from Denver Airport to Vail

There is also now a bus service from Denver Union Station to Vail named the Bustang. And, there’s a train from Denver Airport to Union Station. Though most visitors to Vail would likely prefer the luxury of one one the shuttle services above.

Do you need a car in Vail?

As we mentioned above, there’s not a lot of need for a car once you arrive in Vail. It is a charming cobblestone walking village with heated sidewalks and a modern free bus system. The only thing you really might want to access out of the village is a larger grocery store. Antlers does have a seasonal shuttle to take guests to and from the local supermarkets.
