What is the clearance height for the parking garage?
The Antlers at Vail parking garage is located beneath our hotel and is heated during the winter months. The maximum height for a vehicle entering the garage is 7 feet 2 inches. This clearance can accommodate most standard-size vehicles, including SUVs. If your vehicle is taller than our parking height limit, or you have a roof top accessory, we do have limited exterior parking in our outdoor courtyard for larger vehicles. We unfortunately do not have space for RVs, trailers, or box trucks, but we can provide you with information on where to park these types of vehicles within the Town of Vail.
What is the clearance height for the archway under the courtyard?
The height of the archway into the courtyard is 10 feet.
What are the pool hours? Are there towels at the pool?
Our pool is open from 10 AM until 8 PM, with slightly shortened hours in April, May, October, and November. Towels are available to pick up at the front desk before you go. There are heated changing rooms by the pool. Please be sure to bring a robe/jacket and slipper/sandals for getting to & from the pool, as we do not currently provide these items.
Is the pool heated? What temperature?
The pool is heated. We have the temperature set at 84 degrees Fahrenheit, so even in the middle of winter you can enjoy a dip. Our two hot tubs are set at 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
Do you have robes?
At this time we do not offer robes, but it is a future amenity that we are considering.
What time is check-in? What happens if I arrive earlier than that?
Check-in begins at 4 p.m. If you arrive prior to 4 p.m. and your condo is not yet ready, we will be happy to store your luggage and give you access to the fitness center, pool, and sauna.
Can I request a late check out?
Check-out time is 11:00 am. We may be able to offer a late check-out depending on occupancy. If you would like to request a late check-out, please call us the morning of your departure. If we are unable to accommodate a late check-out, we will be happy to hold your bags, allow parking through the day, and give you full access to common facilities such as fitness center showers and changing rooms.
Do the condos have washers & dryers?
A limited number of our larger condos have washers and dryers in the unit. We have an on-site laundry facility with coin-operated washer and dryers for guests who do not have laundry machines in the unit. The cost for one load of laundry is $3.00 ($1.50 for washer, $1.50 for dryer). We provide complimentary laundry detergent for both the coin-operated machines and the in-unit laundry machines.
Do your condos have air conditioning?
The Antlers is located on the banks of Gore Creek, facing Vail Mountain, an area that rarely gets very hot and that always cools down in the evening. In the summer, we rely on the natural Rocky Mountain breeze to keep guests cool. We do provide fans and humidifiers in every condo, and have more available upon request. For our snowy winters, each condo is equipped with its own thermostat, heaters and gas fireplace.
Do all the bathrooms have bathtubs?
Every condo is independently owned and decorated. Each owner has taken care to make this a true vacation home for your visit. Some have bathtubs, while others have walk-in showers. Please let your reservation sales specialist know if you need a bathtub.
Can I bring my pet? Do you have any restrictions?
We gladly welcome well-trained, well-behaved pets in approximately 20% of our units. Due to the limited number of pet friendly rooms, please call 1-800-843-8245 to confirm that we have a pet-friendly room available to book for you and DO book early as these rooms fill quickly.
We do ask for those traveling with pets to follow these guidelines:
- Take your pet with you when you are not in your room;
- No barking please;
- Owners are, of course, responsible for any damage to the property;
- Be considerate of other guests;
- Walk your dog in designated areas and use supplied doggy pick-up bags;
- If your pet has dirty paws, please request something suitable from the front desk to clean your pet;
- It does take us a little longer to clean up after little paws and wayward fur, so we charge a little extra for pets ($25/pet/night + tax).
Do you serve breakfast?
We do not have a full service restaurant on site, but in addition to the fully equipped kitchens for self-catering, there are several breakfast restaurants just steps away from the Antlers at Vail. Our in-house chef offers prepared meals for you to heat up in your condo and these must be ordered 48 hours in advance of delivery. New to the Antlers at Vail for the 2019-2020 ski season is Chef Barry’s Gourmet Breakfast Buffet on Saturday mornings. If staying with us on a Friday night, please join us for breakfast in the Rob LeVine Conference Center on Saturday mornings December – March. Saturday breakfast is available for purchase at the time of booking online or at our front desk for $25 per person.
Do you have transportation to/from the airport?
We do not offer transportation outside of the town of Vail. Our Front Desk and Concierge team is available to assist you with transportation arrangements.
We didn’t travel in our own vehicle; how do we get around town?
Here in sunny Vail, Colorado there are two pedestrian villages – Vail Village and Lionshead Village. We are located in Lionshead Village – with all of the shops and restaurants in the village just steps from our front door. A beautiful, brisk walk to Vail Village is approximately 15 minutes along the Gore Creek Trail and through shopping districts. There is a complimentary “In-Town” bus with a stop 50 yards from Antlers. This convenient means of transportation operates from 6 am – 2 am daily, every 5 – 10 minutes.
We will have more than one car, can we park all of them on-site?
Unlike other area hotels that charge upwards of $50 per day for parking, parking is FREE for Antler’s guests when you book directly with us, (only 1 free parking spot per condo, 2 spots for 4-bedroom condominiums). If you need additional parking, the Town of Vail Lionshead Parking Garage is a 5-minute walk from Antlers. The charge to park in the Lionshead Parking Garage is $50/day.
Can I reserve a block of rooms for my upcoming wedding?
What are the operating hours of your front desk?
The front desk is open from 7 am – Midnight daily in winter months (December – March); 7 am – 10 pm in summer months (June – October); 7 am – 8 pm in off-peak months (April, May, November). Our lobby and front desk hours are currently 8 AM – 10 PM daily as of July 2020. If you plan to arrive after operating hours, please contact our front desk so we can prepare an arrival packet for you. We always have an on-site, on-call Manager-On-Duty if you have any issues outside of regular operating hours.
How do I get to the grocery store if I don’t have a car with me?
In the winter season (December – March) we provide a shuttle from Antlers to Vail Village and West Vail from 2 pm – 10 pm daily. The shuttle runs on a continuous loop, so is generally at Antlers to pick up guests every 15-20 minutes during shuttle hours.
Is daily housekeeping provided? Is there a fee for this service?
For the health and safety of our guests and staff, daily housekeeping services are suspended through October 2020. Your condo will be thoroughly cleaned before you arrive. During your stay, please contact the front desk should you need:
- Any additional items not found in your condo
- Trash and recycling removed
- Additional towels, sheets, blankets or paper items
Once daily housekeeping resumes, this service will be included – there is no additional fee. Daily housekeeping service occurs between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Should you like to schedule a specific time for service, please call the front desk prior to 9 am. Daily service includes making beds, emptying wastebaskets, and replenishing towels. After every third night on the fourth day of your stay sheets will be changed.
Do you offer roll-away beds or cots? How much do they cost?
We do have roll-away beds and portable cribs available upon request. There is no charge for either, but an extra person charge of $15/day may apply if the unit has more persons that listed occupancy. Children 15 and under always stay free.
Do you have cribs, high chairs and pack and plays?
We have a wide variety of baby accessories. Please inform us before arrival so we can make the proper arrangements to have any needed cribs, high chairs or other accessories ready in your unit.
Do the condos have hair dryers?
Every bathroom has a hair dryer.
Are any of your condos handicapped accessible?
Regrettably the Antlers at Vail does not have any units that meet ADA standards. However, we may have a unit that can fulfill your specific needs. Please call us directly at 1-800-843-8245 to discuss all possible options for your Vail vacation.
Can I send packages and luggage to the hotel before I arrive?
Yes, we will receive and hold packages/luggage in anticipation of your arrival. Please do not send items more than 7 days before your scheduled arrival. Please address any packages as follows: Antlers at Vail/Name on the Reservation/Arrival Date.
We can also arrange to ship items out for you to U.S. destinations. We do not offer international shipping. Please contact the front desk to arrange for shipping or receiving packages.
Do you provide coffee in the rooms? What kind of coffee maker?
At the Antlers, we now proudly provide Vail Mountain Coffee & Tea Company’s Whole Bean Patriotic Blend coffee in each of our condos. When you arrive at your condo, you’ll find a jar of fresh coffee beans and a coffee grinder in the kitchen. We hope you’ll enjoy your morning cup a little more knowing that all of the profits gathered by Vail Mountain Coffee & Tea Company for their Patriotic Blend will go to supporting the Vail Veterans Program. The brand of coffee maker in each condominium varies. Filters are also provided. In our newly renovated lobby, we have a Lavazza coffee machine with complimentary hot chocolate, espresso, cappuccino, chai latte, and more.
What amenities are offered in your condos?
At the Antlers, our condos offer many amenities. All of condos have a full-sized kitchen completely stocked with cookware and dishware, gas fireplaces, private balconies, and outdoor gas grills. Each condo also has a TV in the living room and each bedroom, one parking space in our underground heated garage, complimentary WiFi, complimentary online access to the New York Times, and ski valet service.
Do you have a fitness center? What kind of equipment is in it?
We do have an on-site fitness center open daily from 7 am to 10 pm. There is a treadmill, free weights and weight bench, stationary bike and elliptical. For anyone desiring a more extensive fitness center, we offer complimentary passes to the Vail Athletic Club, located in Vail Village. The Vail Athletic Club offers a multitude of classes including yoga and Pilates as well as a climbing wall and full service spa.
What are your Summer/Winter Cancellation & Deposit Polices?
Winter Reservations (November 15, 2020 – April 19, 2021): One night’s deposit plus tax is due October 1 or at the time of booking after October 1, with the remaining balance due 45 days prior to arrival. The final deposit payment will be charged to the credit card on file. Cancellations made more than 45 days prior to arrival will receive a refund of the deposit (less a $50 per bedroom administration fee). Cancellations made for any reason less than 45 days prior to arrival are non-refundable.
Spring/Summer/Fall Reservations: One night’s deposit plus tax is due at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due upon arrival. Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to arrival will receive a refund of the deposit (less a $25 administration fee). Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival will forfeit the deposit.
My plans may change, what if I need to cancel my reservation? Do you offer deposit protection?
We recommend that you purchase our Deposit Protection. In case of travel delays, flight cancellations, last minute family or business matters, please take a moment to consider protecting your vacation investment. The Antlers at Vail offers Deposit Protection for only 5% of the total amount of your reservation. This is not insurance. If a reservation with Deposit Protection is cancelled for any reason with WRITTEN notice to Antlers (via e-mail, fax, or mail) at least 24 hours prior to arrival date, all lodging deposits will be held for future reservation(s) with no expiration. The 5% Deposit Protection must be purchased before or at time of final deposit, (45 days prior to arrival), and the 5% fee is non-refundable. Deposit Protection does not protect against late arrivals or early departures.
Do you have a loyalty program?
We consider all of our guests a part of our family and offer several perks to every returning guest. Winter guests can book for the following winter while they are here to lock in the very best rates. Winter and summer guests can book $149 rates (per bedroom) for the following spring or fall. What is your “No Snow Policy”?
Antlers at Vail hotel’s early season Good Snow Guarantee* promises a zero-cancellation-fee policy for early ski season dates of stay, (the start of ski season through December 10), to ensure guests who book direct get the snow they want. Just cancel up to one day prior to your arrival date with no penalty. Please inquire at time of booking for the current year’s details.
