What is the clearance height for the parking garage?

The Antlers at Vail parking garage is located beneath our hotel and is heated during the winter months. The height of the underground parking garage is 7 feet 2 inches, so it can accommodate virtually all standard-size vehicles. If your vehicle is taller than our parking height limit, don’t worry, there is exterior parking in our courtyard where we can accommodate oversize vehicles.

What is the clearance height for the archway under the courtyard?

The height of the archway into the courtyard is 10 feet. 

What are the pool hours? Are there towels at the pool?

Our pool is open from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with slightly shortened hours in the shoulder seasons.  We have heated changing rooms and towels by the pool. 

Is the pool heated? What temperature?

The pool is heated.  We have the temperature set at 84 degrees Fahrenheit.  So even in the middle of winter you can enjoy a dip.  Our two hot tubs are set at 104 degrees Fahrenheit.

Do you have robes?

At this time we do not offer robes, but it is a future amenity that we are working towards adding.

What time is check-in? What happens if I arrive earlier than that?

Check-in is 4 p.m. If you arrive prior to 4 p.m. we are happy to store your luggage and give you access to the fitness center and pool. If your room is available early we will check you in early, but there is no guarantee that this will be possible. Please make this request to the front desk as soon as possible though they may not be able to give you an answer until the day of check in.

Can I request a late check out?

We may be able to offer late check-outs depending on our occupancy.  If you are interested in late check out give us a call the morning of your check out and we will do our best.  If we are not able to offer a late checkout, we have no problem allowing you to park here for the day and use our facilities.

Do the units have washers & dryers?

A few amount of our condos have washers and dryers starting from the 2 bedroom 1100 SqFt and up. We do offer coin operated washer and dryers. For a total wash, it is $1.50 for wash and $1.50 dry adding up to $3.00 total. We do have complimentary laundry detergent for both the coin operated machines and the washers and dryers in units. 

Do your condos have air conditioning?

The Antlers is located on the banks of the Gore Creek, facing Vail Mountain, an area that rarely gets very hot, and that always cools down in the evening. We do not have air conditioning but do have fans in every condominium, and additional available at the front desk, if needed.

Do all the bathrooms have bathtubs?

Every condo is independently owned and decorated. Each owner has taken care to make this a true vacation home for your visit. Some have bathtubs, but not all do. Please let your reservations agent know if you need a bathtub. They will make sure to book you in a condo with one.

Can I bring my pet? Do you have any restrictions?

We gladly welcome well-trained, well-behaved pets in approximately 20% of our units. Due to the limited number of pet friendly rooms, please call 1-800-843-8245 to confirm that we have a pet-friendly room available to book for you and DO book early as these rooms fill quickly.

We do ask for those traveling with pets to follow these guidelines:

  • Take your pet with you when you are not in your room;
  • No barking please;
  • Owners are, of course, responsible for any damage to the property;
  • Be considerate of other guests;
  • Walk your dog in designated areas and use supplied doggy pick-up bags;
  • If your pet has dirty paws, please request something suitable from the front desk to clean your pet;
  • It does take us a little longer to clean up after little paws and wayward fur, so we charge a little extra for pets, just like we do for extra people.

Do you serve breakfast?

We do not have a full service restaurant on site, but in addition to the fully equipped kitchens for preparing your own meals, there are several breakfast restaurants just steps away. Our in-house chef offers prepared meals for you to heat up in your condo (must be ordered 48 hours in advance).

Do you have transportation to/from the airport?

We do not offer transportation outside of the town of Vail. We’ll help you book whatever service you choose.

We didn’t travel in our own vehicle, how do we get around town?

Here in sunny Vail, CO there are two villages that are not accessible by vehicle. Lionshead is right outside our door step and to walk to the other side of Lionshead is about a 7 minute walk. If you wanted to you could walk from Lionshead Vilalge to Vail Village, which is about a 15 minute walk. There is an “In-Town” bus that travels from village to village which runs every 5-10 minutes and is about 50 yards from our door step.

We will have more than one car, can we park all of them on-site?

Unlike other area hotels that charge upwards of $50 per day for parking, parking is FREE for Antler’s guests when you book directly with us, (only 1 free parking spot per condo, 4br units get 2 spots). For additional parking, there is a $50 per car, per day fee, when we have availability, which we don’t always have. Please check with reservations in advance to see if they think we will be able to accommodate an additional car.

As a note, during the summer months, the majority of our guests drive up to the mountains instead of taking a shuttle. Because of this, we must limit parking to one space per condominium. Additionally in the summer, there is parking available at the Lionshead Parking Structure for a fee. The Lionshead Parking Structure is located a short distance away from our hotel in Lionshead Village if you have any additional vehicles to park.

Can I reserve a block of rooms for my upcoming wedding?

We do offer space available contracts for weddings and are also a popular venue for wedding rehearsal dinners and send off brunches.  If you are interested, contact us at groups@antlersvail.com.

What are the operating hours of your front desk?

During heavier occupancy, the front desk will be open from 7 a.m.-midnight Monday – Sunday. During the shoulder season, or less busy times in town, the front desk hours are 7 a.m.- 10 p.m.

 

How do I get to the grocery store if I don’t have a car with me?

Between 2-6 p.m. every day, on request we have a shuttle that will drive you to the grocery store. Please give us a call 5-10 minutes prior to when you would like to depart for the grocery store and then we will come back and pick you up. You do not have to memorize our phone number as it is on the back of your room key. If you do not have a US phone, you can always use the phone at the guest services desk at the grocery store. We have complimentary bags to pack your groceries, as Vail is going eco-friendly and charging $0.10 per bag .

Does housekeeping come and clean the rooms daily? Does it cost extra?

Your condominium rate includes daily housekeeping. Housekeeping staff provides daily service between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Should you like to schedule your daily housekeeping, please call the front desk prior to 3 p.m. Daily service includes making beds, emptying wastebaskets and recycling and removing used towels and providing fresh towels. After every third night, on the fourth day of stay, sheets will be changed.

Do you offer rollaway beds or cots? How much do they cost?

We do have rollaway beds, and rollaway cribs available upon request. There is no charge for either but there is an extra person charge (above the normal occupancy listed below) of $15 per person for ages 16 and above.  Children 15 and under stay free.

Do you have cribs, high chairs and pack and plays?

We have a wide variety of baby accessories. Please inform us before arrival so we can make the proper arrangements to have any needed cribs, high chairs and/or pack plays ready in your unit.

Do the condos have hair dryers?

Every bathroom has a hair dryer.

Are any of your condos handicapped accessible?

Most of our condos are handicapped accessible.  Some units, however, do have 2 floors.  If this is an issue please let us know at the time of booking and we can make sure to put you in the unit that will serve your needs.

Can I send packages and luggage to the hotel before I arrive?

Please address any packages to the name on the reservation. We can arrange for any package to be shipped within the U.S. We do not offer international shipping. Please contact the front desk. They will take your information and charge shipping to the credit card on file

Do you provide coffee in the rooms? What kind of coffee maker?

At the Antlers, we are now providing Vail Mountain Coffee & Tea Company’s Whole Bean Patriotic Blend in each of our condos. When you arrive at your condo, you’ll find a jar of coffee beans and a coffee grinder on the kitchen counter to grind fresh and brew in your coffee pot. It is our pleasure to provide the coffee to you complimentary, and we hope you’ll enjoy your morning cup a little more knowing that all of the profits gathered by Vail Mountain Coffee & Tea Company for their Patriotic Blend will go to supporting the Vail Veterans Program. The brand of coffee maker in each condominium varies. Filters are also provided.

What amenities are offered in your condos?

At the Antlers, our condos offer many amenities.   All of condos have a full kitchens, gas fireplaces, private balconies, and outdoor gas grills.  In addition to the amenities, our condos also have TVs, covered parking, and complimentary Wi-Fi.  We also have a wide selection of kitchen items in our housekeeping.

Do you have a fitness center? What kind of equipment is in it?

We do have an on site fitness center open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. It is a basic gym with a treadmill, free weights, bar, bench, and elliptical. For anyone looking for a more extensive fitness center, we have free passes to the Vail Athletic Club available at the front desk. The Vail Athletic Club is located in Vail Village inside the Vail Mountain Lodge.

 What are your Summer/Winter Cancellation & Deposit Polices?

For winter reservations: One night’s deposit plus tax is due at the time of booking, and full payment is due 45 days prior to arrival and will be charged to the credit card on file. Cancellations made more than 45 days prior to arrival will receive the refunded deposit less a $50 per bedroom administration fee. Cancellations made less than 45 days prior to arrival are non-refundable.

For summer reservations: One night’s deposit plus tax is due at the time of booking, and full payment is due on arrival. Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to arrival will receive the refunded deposit less a $25 administration fee. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival will forfeit the deposit.

My plans may change, what if I need to cancel my reservation? Do you offer deposit protection?

We recommend that you purchase our Deposit Protection. In case of travel delays, flight cancellations, last minute family or business matters, please take a moment to consider protecting your vacation investment. The Antlers at Vail offers Deposit Protection for only 3% of the total amount of your reservation. This is not insurance. If a reservation with Deposit Protection is cancelled for any reason and the Antlers receives WRITTEN notice, (via e-mail, fax, or mail), at least 24 hours prior to arrival date, all lodging deposits will be held for future reservation(s) with no expiration. The 3% Deposit Protection must be purchased before or at time of final deposit, (45 days prior to arrival), and the 3% fee is non-refundable. Deposit Protection does not protect against late arrivals or early departures.

Do you have a loyalty program?

We consider all of our guests a part of our family and offer several perks to every return guest. Every return guest receives an additional 5% off of the lowest available rate. In addition, winter guests can book for the following winter while they are here and lock in the current year’s rates. In addition, every winter and summer guest can book $139 rates (per bedroom) for the following spring or fall. Inquire with your reservations agent as to specific dates this offer is available.

What is your “No Snow Policy”?

Antlers at Vail hotel’s early season Good Snow Guarantee* promises a zero cancellation fee policy for early ski season dates of stay (the start of ski season through December 10), to ensure guests who book direct get the snow they want. Just cancel up to one day prior to your arrival date with no penalty. Please inquire at time of booking for the current year’s details.

Are there laundry facilities at the Antlers?

We have coin operated laundromat.  If you need coins, please stop by the front desk.
