The Games are Back
The GoPro Mountain Games return to kick off Vail’s summer season June 10-13, 2021. With safety protocols in place the Mountain Games will once again feature whitewater sports, mountain biking, road biking, fishing, trail running, DockDogs, disc golf, yoga, a photo competition, three nights of GoPro Mountains of Music (livestreamed and limited in-person capacity).

How To Have an Awesome Time at the Mountain Games
Biking, climbing, rafting, fly-fishing, trail running, and yoga sessions are just the start of what you’ll experience during this celebration of summer in Vail. Competitors from all over the world visit Vail to participate in this iconic alpine sporting event.
Watching the competitions are exciting, but participating in events like the Nature Valley Mountain Mud Run are even more fun. Amateurs and professionals alike are welcome to compete in the games. Registering to compete is easy by signing up on the Mountain Games site. Spots to compete fill in quickly though so be sure to sign up in advance! Registration will open in April.
Concerts during the Mountain Games can’t be missed and are held Thursday through Sunday in Vail Village. Headliners such as Langhorn Slim and the Law and Citizen Cope have played awesome, energetic shows in past years.
