Eagle Ranch Golf Course

Eagle Ranch Golf Club is located in the beautiful small town of Eagle, Colorado, just 30 minutes from Vail. The majestic Colorado Rocky Mountains provide a spectacular setting for the Arnold Palmer Signature Design Course. The course opened in 2001 as part of a new, master-planned residential community called Eagle Ranch. Prior to the golf course and surrounding real estate development, the land was a working ranch. Several of the antique ranch implements are laid out around the course as a reminder of the property’s history. With the addition of the golf course and other fantastic amenities such as an outdoor pool, ice rink, recreation trails and fitness center, Eagle is an idyllic place to live and play.

Thanks to the efforts of  Golf Course Superintendent Derek Rose, and others, the course is certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. We’ve been designated a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary since 2002 – one of 773 courses in the world with that designation.

The practice facility has plenty of room to work on all aspects of your game, including five target greens on the range, a chipping green and two putting greens. The Grille has a delicious lunch menu with indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains. It’s also a wonderful setting to host a special event or tournament and groups of all sizes can be accommodated.

Eagle River Anglers
123 Address Line One
Eagle, CO 81631

Bob grew up in Colorado hunting, trapping and learning to fish from both of his grandfathers. Bob
and Kim married in 1988 and moved to Eagle in 1991. Finding the town without a fly shop they
decided to take the plunge and opened Eagle River Anglers in 1993, beginning in a small building
by the interstate, they moved to their current location riverside in 2001. In 2003 they purchased
a historic house for $1 and moved it onto the property. This building was built in 1905 by Charles
Nogal and was one of the first houses in Eagle. This building was the home to the Nogal family for
many years who coincidently sold trout from the river to the railroad as well as bait to fisherman.
The shop is stocked with only quality goods from the finest manufactures in the industry, including
Sage, Redington, and Ross. The flies are all high quality from Umpqua, Spirit River and Montana
Fly Co. with a selection that is unparalleled in the valley.

The Eagle Vail Golf Club is one of the Vail Valley’s favorite golf courses with expansive views of the Gore Range and surrounding peaks of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.  Nestled only five minutes from each of world class, internationally known Vail and Beaver Creek resorts, Eagle Vail offers 18 holes of pristine challenging golf for people of all ages.

In early 2015, EagleVail won national recognition as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary from Audubon International, a two year intensive process requiring demonstration of a high degree of environmental quality in seven specific areas.

EagleVail’s golf course was created in the 1970s by the Devlin/Von Hagge design team to provide a true mountain golf experience. Both the 18 hole and Par 3 courses are integrated with rivers, streams, ponds, wetlands, forests, and gardens. EagleVail’s stunning mountain setting with its varying microclimates and multi-faceted terrain is one of the Colorado’s most unique golf courses.
